Seal the Deal
Approve the estimate, provide a $1,000 deposit and we'll schedule your installation. Deposit goes towards your job.
Total Turf Installation Process
Total Turf 10-Step Process
We've perfected this over thousands of installations.
1. Sod + Soil Removal
Removal of existing sod + 4” of soil, and roots to ensure proper grading and a “clean slate” to start on.
2. Sprinklers and Drainage
Cap any existing irrigation, remove heads, and ensure that proper drainage is accessible and sufficient for our turf installation.
3. Landscape Fabric
Install industrial grade woven landscaping fabric that deters weeds and rodents.
4. Perimeter Edging
Install UV Coated 2X4" or pressure treated 2x4" around entire perimeter that does not butt up against existing hardscape.
5. Base Rock
Install 3-5"of type II base rock. We never use demolition concrete as base rock.
6. Fines or Decomposed Granite
Plate compact to ensure the top of the installation contours with the entire landscape design and any existing grading or hardscape.
7. Turf Installation
Install our USA turf using 5" nails. Install nails every 6-8".
8. Infill
Install beige silica sand or envirofill to ensure your turf stays put and the blades stay upright.
9. Brush + Fill
Heavy duty brush to ensure the infill is evenly spread throughout your yard as well as the blades are facing upright and gorgeous.
10. Final Walk-Thru
We ensure your satisfaction prior to final payment.
