West Sacramento Pet Turf System — Three Dogs Taught Who Needed an AirDrain

Standard artificial turf handles one or two dogs reasonably well. Three dogs using the same yard daily as their primary bathroom is a different engineering problem entirely.

We recently completed a full backyard pet turf installation in West Sacramento for a couple with three dogs, and this project required our full pet drainage solution from the ground up — starting with AirDrain.

AirDrain is a specialized drainage panel we install between the plate-compacted base rock and the turf surface above. It creates a continuous air gap throughout the entire base system, allowing liquid to drain freely and air to circulate underneath the turf at all times. The result is a surface that stays fresh, drains efficiently, and resists odor buildup over time.

The yard was in rough shape when we arrived. The transformation from start to finish was dramatic. The couple was thrilled with the finished result and already has us coming back for additional work on the property.
